Fingerplay
“Adam and the Animals”. We had friends (ages 6 and 2) over today and we got them involved in the activities. I told the six year old we were going to have some schooltime and he said he did not want to be involved. But, once he saw what we were doing, he changed his mind.
We looked up the animals on the computer as well.

Devotional
Read My ABC Bible Verses. We talked about Proverbs 15:1 “A soft answer turns away wrath.”
We talked about how it is important to use kind words even when someone else is not being kind.
Letter Activity
The boys colored a page with objects beginning with the letter “A”. They also glued split peas on the “A”.
Bible Activity
We acted out the Bible story and pretended to be God picking up dust from the earth and blowing on it to create “man.” We then acted out Adam falling asleep and God removing a rib from Adam to create Eve. We then thanked God for creating us.
Music
Sang “God made the Universe.” “A” likes to play the recorder while we sing.
Sign Language
New word “sky”
P.E./Social
Large playdate at friends. About 10 kids.
Playdate in the backyard. The boys played soccer, catch with a football, and did somersaults.
20 minutes on the trampoline.
