This gingerbread ornament was given to us while ‘A’ was a newborn. He was a month premature and we had to spend five days in the NICU. The ornament was given to us by a child that also spent time in the NICU as an infant and was now a teenager. It is always special to place this little guy on our tree every year as a reminder to count our blessings.
