My friend Shannon and I ran the Crush Wine Run 5K. I was still recuperating from the nasty cold I had, but needed to get out there and run something.
This was a fun run, aside from dealing with bicyclists on the trail that kept telling us to move over. We move to one side and another set of cyclists tell us to move to the other side. Repeat ad nauseum. It was also very hot. No more racing in this hot weather. Bleh.
But, at the end of the race, there was a wine garden that had about 10 different local wineries represented. We got to taste some lovely wines I had never even heard of. Here’s some of my faves…
