My friend Christie had a doctor’s appointment so I took the kids out for a treat! They sat by the drive through and waved to each car that passed. Only one woman actually saw them and waved back…

Lovely Spring bouquet, right? Can you believe that this is actually a cake and everything but the pinwheel is edible?? Our friend Chris Newsom is an EMT by night and homeschool Dad/baker extraordinaire by day. The “clay pot” is fondant, then a chocolate cake topped with crushed chocolate cookies, pansies, and fresh mint.
