‘R’ was our chef a few nights ago! He did a terrific job following directions, prepping, making the dinner, and setting the table! Separating his first egg all by himself! On the menu: Southwest meatballs with black bean and corn sauce, and corn bread!

The boys took the the chess pieces and swapped them out with Lego characters. It was all fun and games until they forgot which piece was supposed to be which, and oddly enough big brother was insisting that he was winning….

Not sure what these little fellas are called, but about 10 of them swooped down on our rose plant and ate a bunch of the aphids before flying off. They are no bigger than a hummingbird. It was impossible to get any great shots of them, but I am pretty happy with this one…
