The Coalition for Place Youth was given special recognition for their hard work by the City of Rocklin. This photo contains Rocklin Mayor Joe Patterson at the City council meeting giving CPY a citation/award/accommodation, something like that.

A quick day trip with two friends visiting from Washington. They were spending a couple nights there and I joined them for a day.

First stop, Inglenook. I love how they placed pumpkins in their fountain. Next stop, Sterling Vineyards. Last stop, a picnic lunch at Bennett Lane. Short, but sweet visit. Until next time, friends!

The other reason is that this organization no longer has funding and is going on hold for now. We are grateful for our time serving with them. This event was the last event we did together.

We made a quick trip to Manzanita. Just a few nights. The boys and I decided to make a spontaneous day trip to Portland while Dad stayed home with the puppers.

First stop: VooDoo Doughnuts. Their first time…loved it.

A fun night in Sacramento with some of my sole sisters!

A sole sister of our run club suffered the devastation of losing her beautiful daughter. We gathered for a memorial walk to honor her memory. Many tears, and hugs. You are not alone and you are loved.

Sizzler Sunday

I oversee at team of ushers and greeters for our church’s 9:45 Sunday service in the video cafe. Every second Sunday of the month, we gather at Sizzler for lunch. It’s optional and we never know who is going to show up. This is one of those gatherings…
