“Riverwalk” was chosen to be in the 2019 Blue Line Arts Gallery Membership Medley exhibit! It ran through the month of August and actually sold! My first sale! Woo hoo! This was a beautiful and diverse show. I am so honored to have been a part of it!

A piece of my artwork, “Glimpse Up Cherry Tree”, was placed in our local Rocklin library for the month of August. Some of my friends and I went to dinner together and stopped in to see the piece while it was hanging. A fun night <3 Teresa, Sally, Janice, and Nancy!

Being silly “glimpsing up cherry tree”

I don’t know what I’d do without these beautiful women in my life. Sharing the ups and downs, joys and sorrows. Keeping it real. Accountable. Growing and stretching. Comforting and encouraging. Fun and not so fun. All the things. Always good, even when it’s hard. So much love here.

Welcome Baby ‘B’!

I have been given the most incredible honor of having been able to be present for the birth of all three of my dear friends, Eric and Crystal’s, children. Most recent was the birth of their third child and first son! It was beautiful and intense and we are so blessed to have this little one here.

Dado Visits!

Esperanza “Dada” went to visit family in Colombia and Fabio “Dado” traveled to NYC to visit his daughter Sara, and Oakland/Rocklin to visit the rest of his kids/grandkids! We spent the week playing in the pool, shopping for home decor items, playing VR, etc. The week flew by although we all missed Esperanza, we all had a special time together.

Our annual road trip to visit family in July! First night was a stop over in Bend, OR. I was not able to book where we typically stay (McMenamin’s St. Francis), but was able to get a night at the Riverhouse on the Descutes.
The moment we checked in, it started dumping buckets. Alex was thrilled. I think we moved when the kids were too young to recall the downside to rain. He absolutely loves it!

Next day, we dropped off the dogs for boarding at the Countryside Veterinary Clinic in Wenatchee. Joined Uncle Art and Auntie Yaya for the next three nights.

Had brunch with my Auntie DeeDee and Uncle Bob at Benson Vineyards. The view was stunning. The food, delightful. I gave Dee a piece of art from an artist who lives near me. It is titled “Medicine Woman”. It was such a blessing to have both sets of aunts/uncles in the area at the same time.

I love my family!

Next stop…Sandpoint to four nights. Visited Grandpa Randy and Grandma Margaret. We went to Baxter’s on Cedar and Eichhardt’s Pub. We also walked the Sandpoint Saturday market. We surprised the boys by dropping them off at Silverwood for a full day!

Final stop… Caldwell, to visit our friends, Dan and Lori! We spent two nights and spent a day visiting downtown Boise.

Flower Farm Hike

I am on hiatus from running, but a Flower Farm hike seemed like a good idea. Catching up with run buddies and breakfast at the Flower Farm after. It was perfect.

We had an awesome visit from Sara and Charlie (from NYC) and Paul and Shannon (and Baby M) from Oakland. They stayed a few nights. Games, good food, and good conversation, plus some antique shopping!

One of my besties has five awesome kids. For my birthday gift to her this year, I offered a day of childcare so she could do whatever she wanted. She and her husband planned a few day trip to Chicago and I watched her kids for one of the days.

Her oldest was in school, then practice for (I think) volleyball. Mu boys joined me and we filled the day with games, playing basketball, jumping on the trampoline, and making play doh “poop” characters, compliments of my husband. 🙂
