We talked about what makes a good friend.  <\/P>
\n

'A' replied: “hugs”, “invite them over to play”, “sharing”<\/P>
\n

'R' replied: “play cars with them”<\/P>
\n

We discussed examples of good manner shown in the book.  Examples include:<\/P>
\n

-Lisa quietly obeying her mother when she left the store.<\/P>
\n

-Lisa asks her mother politely for the bear and said, 'please'.<\/P>
\n

-Lisa was polite to the saleslady and said, “no, thank you”.<\/P>
\n

Homes and Habitats<\/STRONG><\/P>
\n

We discussed loving each other and having a home.  We talked about what makes a family and a home.<\/P>
\n

We also rented the video of 'Corduroy' and the boys were able to watch it.  'A' kept getting a little disturbed when the movie would deviate from the book.  We discussed how movies will often do that.<\/P>
\n
