Fingerplay<\/STRONG><\/P> “Adam and the Animals”. Quizzed “A” on what each 'A' animal looks like <\/P> Bible Story<\/STRONG><\/P> Scripture: Read Genesis 2:1<\/P> Read from The New bible in Pictures for Little Eyes<\/P> Focus: God created all things<\/P> <\/P> Color Recognition <\/STRONG><\/P> The boys attempted to create color circles. 'A' was able to name every color and he could name three in spanish (azul, amarillo, azul) 'R' could name all the colors except for purple.<\/P> <\/P> Letter Activity<\/STRONG><\/P> I made a large 'A' out of twine on the floor. The boys had their stuffed animals (Tigger and Minus) “walk” along the letter. After their animals did it, they did it themselves.<\/P> <\/P> We talked about how each letter has a name and a sound and practiced the sound for 'a'.<\/P> <\/P> Math Activity<\/STRONG><\/P> The boys drew “caterpillars” in a box. Each box has a different number of caterpillars. We also learned that God made each animal special.<\/P> <\/P> Music<\/STRONG><\/P> We are learning and listening to: “God Made the Universe”<\/P> <\/P> Sign Language<\/STRONG><\/P> New words added: “night” “day”<\/P> <\/P> Read Aloud<\/STRONG><\/P> I read “Adventure with Little Bear” today to the boys. They decided to try to make space hats out of the cracker boxes, like Little Bear did.
