I marked a starting line and made the goal of a stuffed animal (Mrs. Ladybug, playing the part of ‘Rachel’).\u00a0 The boys had to hop to the goal.\u00a0 Each landing was marked by a line.<\/p>\n

We then compared the jumps using the words: shortest, longest, farther, closest<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Letter Activity<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The boys had to pick out the “D’s”.\u00a0 ‘R’ did well circling without my assistance.\u00a0 He found 9\/14.\u00a0 ‘A’ did the whole lesson without any assistance, and found 13\/14. (He actually found 2 I had missed when checking ‘R’s!)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The boys drew a piece of Jacob’s Ladder (looks like the letter ‘H’) in boxes.\u00a0 ‘A’ was able to make the ladders unassisted, and drew the number one without help.\u00a0 I assisted with the remaining numbers.\u00a0 I helped ‘R’ with all of his.<\/p>\n
