Fingerplay<\/STRONG><\/P> “What do you know?” (Review of letters a-h)<\/P> <\/P> Bible Story<\/STRONG><\/P> Numbers 27:15-20<\/P> Children's Bible: God had Moses appoint Joshua as the new leader<\/P> <\/P> Devotional Activity<\/STRONG><\/P> Review the verses for letters E-H<\/P> E- Even a child is known by his deeds. Proverbs 20:11<\/P> F-For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16<\/P> G-Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15<\/P> H-Honor your father and your mother. Exodus 20:12<\/P> <\/P> Bible Activity<\/STRONG><\/P> We are currently learning the 10 commandments. Right now, we are working on <\/P> 1- Worship only one God<\/P> 2-Do not make any idols<\/P> 3-Do not misuse the name of the Lord<\/P> 4-Keep the Sabbath day holy<\/P> 5-Honor your father and mother<\/P> <\/P> Letter Activity<\/STRONG><\/P> We reviewed the letters A-H, using the flashcards. I quizzed both boys. <\/P> 'R' got 3 out of 8 uppercase correct. (A, E, F)<\/P> 'A' got all uppercase correct! Of the lowercase, he got 6 out o 8 correct! (He said the 'd' was a 'b', and said the 'h' was 'd'.<\/P> <\/P> Math Activity<\/STRONG><\/P> I drew 10 men for 'R' to color, and had 'A' draw the 10 men. This completes our “Number Book 1-10”. We placed the number sheets in plastic protectors and made a book with a three ring binder.<\/P> <\/P> Spanish<\/STRONG><\/P> Worked on saying numbers 1-10 in Spanish.<\/P> <\/P> Read Alouds<\/STRONG><\/P> Kitten's First Full Moon by Kevin Henkes<\/P> Brer Rabbit's Race by Joel Chandler Harris<\/P><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Theme Worked on our 'Apple' lapbook.
