{"id":234341,"date":"2006-11-07T19:00:00","date_gmt":"2006-11-07T19:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2006\/11\/07\/lesson-11-7-06\/"},"modified":"2006-11-07T19:00:00","modified_gmt":"2006-11-07T19:00:00","slug":"lesson-11-7-06","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2006\/11\/07\/lesson-11-7-06\/","title":{"rendered":"Lesson 11\/7\/06"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\"><STRONG>Fingerplay:<\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">&#8220;God Sends Samuel&#8221;<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\"><STRONG>Bible Story:<\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">1 Samuel 3:8-10<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">Children&#39;s Bible:&nbsp; Story of when God called to Samuel.<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\"><STRONG>Math Activity:<\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">The boys listend to me making a rhythmic pattern and copied.&nbsp; stomp-clap, etc.<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">We started with two actions, then to three, then went of up about six to eight rhythms to copy.&nbsp; &#39;A&#39; did an excellent job following all the patterns.&nbsp; &#39;R&#39; could handle the two action patterns.<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\"><STRONG>Letter Activity:<\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">Hide and Seek &#39;J&#39;.&nbsp; Both were able to find all the &#39;J&#39;s without assistance.<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\"><IMG src=\"http:\/\/static.flickr.com\/100\/291903467_a0f9665204.jpg\"><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">&nbsp;<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\"><STRONG>Bible Activity:<\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">I gave each boy a piece of paper.&nbsp; They had to complete each of the directions one at a time:<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">1.&nbsp; Draw two black lines coming down from the TOP of the paper (This represents God&#39;s voice)<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">2.&nbsp; Draw a yellow rectangle on the LEFT side of the page (this represents Samuel&#39;s pillow)<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">3.&nbsp; Draw a blue square on the RIGHT side of the page (this represents Samuel&#39;s blanket)<\/P><br \/>\n<P style=\"MARGIN: 0px\">4.&nbsp; On the BOTTOM on the page, write out the letters Y.E.S.
