<\/p>\nToday, I hired a sitter (the best sitter ever…) to watch the boys while I took myself to a matinee and did some Christmas shopping.\u00a0 She was their teacher today.\u00a0 Not only did she teach this lesson, they also baked a cake, and made big, stuffed construction paper star ornaments.\u00a0 She always brings a craft for the boys.\u00a0 Last Sunday, this is what they made.\u00a0 I was only able to make it last about 12 hours, before they insisted on breaking into it!

\nChildren’s Bible: God sent fire to the alter and took Elijah to heaven.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>The boys created Elijah’s altar with playdough.\u00a0 Miss Laura showed them how to make a pile of rocks and sticks to put on top, with “water” around it, and “flames” on top.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Miss Laura placed a large letter ‘M’ in red yarn on the floor and had the boys take their stuffed animals and walk around it, saying ‘mmmmm’.<\/p>\n
