Fingerplay <\/strong>“One Special Baby”<\/p>\n

Bible Story
\n<\/strong>Matthew 2:1-2, 9-10
\nChildren’s Bible: Magi followed God’s star to Jesus.<\/p>\n

Math Activity
\n<\/strong>We had our neighbor friend, ‘J age 3’ visit us today.\u00a0 I made shapes on a piece of paper and had the boys copy them.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

‘R’ is the left one, ‘A’ is the right.\u00a0 The items that are circles are the ones I assisted them with.<\/p>\n

I drew shapes on cards and quizzed the boys with them.\u00a0 I also placed the spanish word of the shape on the card.\u00a0 Then, I drew a card and asked the boys to find that shape somehwere throughout the house.\u00a0 They enjoyed this and have been finding shapes on their own. (TV=rectangle, pillow=square, seat=circle, etc.)

(yes, those are socks on his hands.\u00a0 They use them as “gloves” when “dueling ” with their plastic swords.)<\/p>\n
