Today was DH’s birthday!\u00a0 Happy birthday, honey!\u00a0 His mom and sister surprised him by visiting for lunch.\u00a0 Grandma M brought cowboy hats for the boys.\u00a0 Too cute! (She also made the birthday cake, and Sister S made cookies, YUM!)

\n<\/strong>“Jesus Did Miracles”<\/p>\n

Bible Story
\n<\/strong>Luke 8:41-55
\nChildren’s Bible: Jesus raised a girl from the dead<\/p>\n

Dramatic Play
\n<\/strong>We played doctor.\u00a0 I was the patient and the boys took my temperature, wrapped my arm in bandages, operated on my toe,\u00a0 gave me “shots”, etc.\u00a0 We talked about how doctors care for patients.<\/p>\n

Letter Activity
\n<\/strong>The boys practiced making the letter ‘S’.\u00a0 I assumed this would be easy for them, but they struggled with it.\u00a0 I had to make dot to dot ‘S’s for them.<\/p>\n

Bible Activity
\n<\/strong>We acted out the Bible story.\u00a0 Each took turns being “dead”, and each took turns being Jesus who touched the girl and brought ehr back to life.<\/p>\n
