Dramatic Play
\n<\/strong>I had ‘D’, my mother’s helper with me today.  She did this activity with the boys.
\nWe made their bedroom very dark by putting blankets on the windows.  She would say that she saw something and would describe it without saying what it was.  The boys had to shine the flashlight on that item.  They took turns doing this. (This picture was actually taken in darkness!)

Letter Activity
\n<\/strong>The boys thought of words that started with the letter ‘Y’: yoyo, yellow, you, yucky, yolk<\/p>\n

Active Exploration
\n<\/strong>I set out items that were empty or full.  The boys had to place the empty items by ‘D’ and the full ones by me.
