{"id":330733,"date":"2007-05-19T10:34:00","date_gmt":"2007-05-19T18:34:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2007\/05\/19\/menu-plan-monday-may-21\/"},"modified":"2007-05-19T10:34:00","modified_gmt":"2007-05-19T18:34:00","slug":"menu-plan-monday-may-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2007\/05\/19\/menu-plan-monday-may-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Menu Plan Monday- May 21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/bp1.blogger.com\/_l_2egv7zcAE\/RiwfLtSlmQI\/AAAAAAAAAOw\/oCyxDibfDuI\/s320\/menuplan.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>OK, so I am posting early, but I have the time and the inclination, so here you go!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Chili Cheese Cornbread<\/em>, Green Salad<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Crockpot Beef Wraps<\/em>, Corn<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Chicken Noodle Casserole<\/em>, Green Beans<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday<br \/>\n<\/strong>Crockpot BBQ Sandwiches, Coleslaw<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday<br \/>\n<\/strong>Adirondack Soup, Cheese and crackers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday<br \/>\n<\/strong>Fried Rice Friday<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday<br \/>\n<\/strong>Attending a family reunion<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Recipes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><font size=\"2\"><strong>Chili Cheese Cornbread<\/strong><br \/>\nIngredients:<br \/>\n<\/font><font size=\"2\">2 cans chili w\/beans<br \/>\nCheese (shredded or sliced)<br \/>\n1 box Jiffy cornbread mix<br \/>\n1 egg<br \/>\n1\/3 c. milk<br \/>\n<\/font><font size=\"2\">Directions:<br \/>\n<\/font><font size=\"2\">Spread chili in a greased 8&#215;11 dish. Top with cheese. Stir milk and egg into cornbread mix and spread on top. Bake at 375 degrees or until golden brown and cornbread is done.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><font size=\"2\"><strong>Crockpot Beef Wraps<br \/>\n<\/strong>Cut chuck roast into stew meat.&nbsp; Cover with a jar of salsa. Cook in crockpot 6 hours.&nbsp; Serve in torilla with sauteed onions and peppers.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><font size=\"2\"><strong>Chicken Noodle Casserole<br \/>\n<\/strong><font size=\"2\">2 cans of chicken breast meat, packed in juice, drained and flaked<br \/>\n1 12-ounce package of wide egg noodles, drained<br \/>\n2 cans cream of mushroom soup, undiluted<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese<br \/>\n2 tsp. soy sauce<br \/>\n1\/3 c. milk or water or chicken stock<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. garlic powder<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. onion powder<br \/>\nSalt &amp; pepper to taste<br \/>\n16 Ritz<\/font><font size=\"1\">&reg; <\/font><font size=\"2\">crackers, crushed finely<br \/>\n2 T. melted butter<br \/>\n<\/font><font size=\"2\">Directions:<br \/>\n<\/font><font size=\"2\">Cook noodles according to package directions, draining noodles 1 minute before fully cooked. In a large bowl, combine chicken, both cans of soup, cheese, soy sauce, milk (or stock or water), garlic and onion powder and season with salt and pepper as desired. Carefully fold in noodles. Grease a 9&#215;13-inch baking dish and pour noodle mixture into dish. Mix melted butter and cracker crumbs and sprinkle over noodle mixture. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
