We learrned about Napkin etiquette: after the blessing, place napkin in lap where it is to stay through the meal.&nbsp; If you have greasy fingers, wipe them on the napkin in your lap.&nbsp; If you need to wipe your mouth, use the corner of the napkin and place it back on your lap.&nbsp; If you need to leave the table, place the napkin on the seat, not on the table.&nbsp; <br \/>\nWe looked up different napkin folds online and tried our hand at them.<br \/>\nWe also learned about 10 things you must never do at the table: (I am quizzing the boys as I type this.&nbsp; Let&#8217;s see how many they remember&#8230;)<br \/>\n1)Do not talk about gross things(A)<br \/>\n2)Do not take such a big bite that it alters your face(R)<br \/>\n3)Do not point the knife at someone(A)<br \/>\n4)Do not lean on one elbow and turn away from someone(A)<br \/>\n5)Don&#8217;t put a knife in your mouth<br \/>\n6)Don&#8217;t lean back on your chair<br \/>\n7)Don&#8217;t pick your teeth at the table with a toothpick<br \/>\n8)Don&#8217;t fish around on the service platter for the biggest piece<br \/>\n9)Don&#8217;t chew with your mouth open<br \/>\n10)Don&#8217;t push the plate back when finished<\/p>\n<p>Right Choices-We learned about asking for and giving forgiveness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reading<br \/>\n<\/strong>100 Lessons- Lesson 10.&nbsp; I am torn.&nbsp; This is so far, too easy for &#8216;A&#8217;, and too difficult for &#8216;R&#8217;.&nbsp; I know it gets more challenging for &#8216;A&#8217;, but I am bored with this.&nbsp; I hope taht &#8216;R&#8217; is getting a little soemthing out of it.&nbsp; I will keep trying a little longer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Math<br \/>\n<\/strong>Singapore Earlybird 1A-Lesson 10: The boys are now learning about &#8216;sets&#8217;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bible Children&#8217;s Everyday Bible-We read the story where God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac to test his faith, then gave him a ram to sacrifice instead.&nbsp; I shared with the boys that Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice and we no longer have to make these kind of sacrificial gestures to God.
