\n<\/strong>I had ‘A’ review all of the verses to date. I would give the verse and the first word or two, and he was able to recite them all! Proverbs 4:20, Hebrews 11:1, 2 Corinthians 9:7, Colossians 3:15, Ephesians 4:25
\n‘R’ can kind of recite the general idea, but I had to heavily prompt.<\/p>\n
\nConcept: Obedience- I obey right away without delay.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>‘Developing the Early Learner’-The boys looked at a set of pictures (dog, coat, goat, throat, sailboat, fish) They had to decide which items rhyme with ‘boat’. Both got all correct.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>‘BB Book of Science…’-We learned about lightning and thunder. Lightning is sparks of electricity that shoots from one cloud to another. Thunder is the noice that lightning makes. We use electricity to light our homes, run the vacuum, etc.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>‘Things People Do’-We read about the Baker- There is a Master Baker, an Apprentice Baker, a Cake Decorator. We learned that there is ‘proofing oven’ that allows breads to rise, a regular hot overn, and a cooling oven.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>‘Right Choices’-We read about how it is good to read the Bible and learn about what God wants for us.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>‘365 Manners’-We read about eating desserts. We eat cookies, small pastries, and cream puffs with our fingers. Puddings, ice cream, custards and other soft desserts are eaten with a spoon. Pie and cakes are eaten with a fork. If ice cream is served with pie or cake, you offer both a fork and a spoon, but you do not have to use both. You can use a spoon to cut an eclair, but use a fork to eat it.<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Singapore Earlybird 1B-Lesson 1-This lesson introduced the concept of ‘solid shapes’: cube, sphere, box, cone, cylinder. ‘A’ struggled a bit with this and kept defaulting to ‘circle, square, etc. ‘R’ grasped this concept immediately and corrected ‘A’ many times. <\/p>\n
