Bible
\n<\/strong>The Levites were chosen to serve as Holy men and were not given land.  The remaining tribes gave part of their cities and food to the Levites so they may do God’s work.<\/p>\n

Language Arts
\n<\/strong>‘Developing the Early Learner’-
\nComprehension-Association: The boys had to look at a series of pictures and choose the items that were Toys.  Both did well.
\nMotor-Hand-Eye: The boys had to copy a circle, a sideways ‘V’, and a sideways ‘U’.  ‘A’ was able to dothe circle and the ‘U’.  The ‘V’ was OK, but backwards.  ‘R’ did the circles fine, but needed help with the others.<\/p>\n

Science
\n<\/strong>BB Book of Science and Nature- We read about using our senses in nature.  We SEE: buttercups, bumblebees, hummingbird, fish, colors, etc.  We HEAR: pecking, hooting, squeaking, chirping, and crickets rubbing their lages together to "sing".  We SMELL: pine, grapes, flowers, wood, skunks, etc.<\/p>\n

Character
\n<\/strong>‘Right Choices’-We read that it is wrong to call people names<\/p>\n

Life Skills
\n<\/strong>‘365 Manners’-We read that it is a mark of courtesy for the man to offer the part of the sidewalk closest to the building.  This used to be to protect her from mud from the roadway.  Other common courtesies in "protecting others": offer your mother the umbrella when it rains, treating animals with kindness, offer to carry heavy items if able, not using coarse words or behavior.<\/p>\n
