{"id":443768,"date":"2007-12-12T20:35:00","date_gmt":"2007-12-12T20:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2007\/12\/12\/my-home-improvement-project\/"},"modified":"2007-12-12T20:35:00","modified_gmt":"2007-12-12T20:35:00","slug":"my-home-improvement-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2007\/12\/12\/my-home-improvement-project\/","title":{"rendered":"My home improvement project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ETA: He loved it!!<\/p>\n<p>DH was away for a week, so I decided to get crazy and re-do the bathroom!&nbsp; I hired a friend to help, but it still took MUCH longer than I anticipated.&nbsp; I wich I had thought to take a picture of &#8216;before&#8217;.&nbsp; Imagine a very light pink wall, and oak cabinets.<\/p>\n<p>WE:<br \/>\npainted the walls a light green<br \/>\nsanded, primed, sanded, painted two coats the oak cabinets and all wood trim and the door.&nbsp; It took 12-24 hours between coats.<br \/>\nNew light fixture.&nbsp; The old was was an ugly oak strip with round bulbs.<br \/>\nNew faucet<br \/>\nNew shower rod, rings, and curtain<br \/>\nNew artwork and embellishments<br \/>\nHardware for the cabinets\n<\/p>\n<p>It looks so much better!&nbsp; DH does not know about it.&nbsp; I hope he will be happy.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"DISPLAY: block\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2320\/2107351748_7c1edd942f.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"DISPLAY: block\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2303\/2106541963_e73325580a.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"DISPLAY: block\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2139\/2106541513_8cae63ec6a.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nI thought I just wanted to get rid of the cabinets alltogether, but I am pretty happy with them now.&nbsp; So, the only things left I want to do is to get new flooring, new tiles around the sink, and the tub re-porcelained.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ETA: He loved it!!
