{"id":457311,"date":"2008-01-07T22:38:00","date_gmt":"2008-01-08T06:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2008\/01\/07\/new-years-in-sandpoint-sagle\/"},"modified":"2008-01-07T22:38:00","modified_gmt":"2008-01-08T06:38:00","slug":"new-years-in-sandpoint-sagle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2008\/01\/07\/new-years-in-sandpoint-sagle\/","title":{"rendered":"New Years in Sandpoint\/Sagle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We left the wet, dreary days of Washington and headed for the pristine snowlands of Idaho!&nbsp; Grandma Margaret spoiled us with six days of incredible cooking, Grandma and Grandpa treated us to a horse drawn sleigh ride, and we got to play everyday in perfect snow!<\/p>\n<p>Grandma and boys&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2134\/2176402027_fb9e49f115.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\n&#8216;A&#8217; and &#8216;R&#8217; received easels and art supplies for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa.&nbsp; They loved drawing pictures and making up stories while drawing.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2149\/2176423677_96685c84ae.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWe went to the same place as last year for the sleigh ride,&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.westernpleasureranch.com\/sleighrides.html\">Western Pleasure Guest Ranch.<\/a>&nbsp; There was much more snow this year and everyone received fallen snow on their heads from branches.&nbsp; It was gorgeous and what I hope will become a family tradition.<br \/>\n&#8216;A&#8217;&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2075\/2177215906_e00360442a.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2073\/2177216414_8c8826ca15.jpg\" \/>Grandma and Grandpa before&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2345\/2177216836_04729706a9.jpg\" \/>Grandma and Grandpa after&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2039\/2177217848_c0e452fb72.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nDH and &#8216;R&#8217;&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2130\/2176425335_b874094c94.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nAfter the ride, &#8216;A&#8217; decided to walk in untouched snow.&nbsp; He ended up getting stuck and we had to get him out.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2022\/2177218188_45ca39a351.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWild turkeys visit Grandma and Grandpa&#8217;s house!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2112\/2176441319_ac9a4a85c1.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2267\/2177234194_ecd8159641.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nSledding in the backyard&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2212\/2176446785_4af32266a7.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nGrandma giving the boys a piano lesson&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2005\/2177239358_c754988de5.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We left the wet, dreary days of Washington and headed for the pristine snowlands of Idaho!&nbsp; Grandma Margaret spoiled us with six days of incredible cooking, Grandma and Grandpa treated us to a horse drawn sleigh ride, and we got to play everyday in perfect snow!
