Kathy hosted our group today.  The theme was "plants".  We read a book called "Oh, Say can you Seed?" which talked all about the different parts of a seed and plant.<\/p>\n

\nWith the activity, the kids glued their first initial and placed beans on them.  Here are the two AJ’s!

\nAnother activity had the kids looking at the parts of a bean through a magnifying glass:

\nThe last activity had the kids "planting" their own beans into a canning jar and wet paper towels.  They should sprout and grow their own bean plants!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
