{"id":553678,"date":"2008-06-27T22:17:00","date_gmt":"2008-06-28T06:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2008\/06\/27\/my-boy-039r039\/"},"modified":"2008-06-27T22:17:00","modified_gmt":"2008-06-28T06:17:00","slug":"my-boy-039r039","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2008\/06\/27\/my-boy-039r039\/","title":{"rendered":"My boy, &#8216;R&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just adore him.&nbsp; Of course, I adore &#8216;A&#8217;, too, but I want to take this time to share just a few of the many reasons why I not only love my son, &#8216;R&#8217;, but I LIKE him as well.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;R&#8217; loves all things of beauty, especially in nature.&nbsp; He is the first one to mention someone&#8217;s beautiful garden, or lovely house.&nbsp; He will point out flowers and trees; items I often never give a second glance.&nbsp; He is constantly bringing in buttercups, dandelions, forget me nots, and colored leaves from our yard.&nbsp; He even found a five leaf clover on his own!<\/p>\n<p>He will endlessly watch an insect or spider, and adopts potato bugs as pets.&nbsp; Here is a picture of a dead moth he found on the window sill.&nbsp; He kept it with him for a good part of the day, gently caressing it, and stating how beautiful it was.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3130\/2616736387_427b09d5f4.jpg?v=0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My favorite bouquet&#8230;please note the colored leaf as well.&nbsp; I get ALOT of those.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3229\/2617558938_14618c07cb.jpg?v=0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He is still in what I call the &quot;puppy&quot; years.&nbsp; You know, the awkward, clumbsy&nbsp;phase where they end up with so many scrapes you lose track of how and where they got them.&nbsp; He also has a habit of wiping his nose upward with his hand, creating a smudge on the tip of his nose.&nbsp; It&#8217;s the classic &#8216;R&#8217; look.<\/p>\n<p>He STILL has an obsession for cars and will constantly call out car brands when he see them.&nbsp; He does it with such a passion and enthusiasm, you&#8217;d think he &#8216;d won a car for himself.&nbsp; He also will repeat the car until you acknowledge that he saw it. (HERBIE! (VW Bug), JEEP! HONDA! CHEVY! CONVERTIBLE!
