{"id":676094,"date":"2009-04-05T12:37:00","date_gmt":"2009-04-05T20:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2009\/04\/05\/our-first-visitors\/"},"modified":"2009-04-05T12:37:00","modified_gmt":"2009-04-05T20:37:00","slug":"our-first-visitors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2009\/04\/05\/our-first-visitors\/","title":{"rendered":"Our First Visitors!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My&nbsp;KD Sister\/North Bend Friend\/Tennis Partner, Carrie, came down with her kids to find some sun.&nbsp; Her husband comes to this area frequently on business, and joined him.&nbsp; While he worked, they visited with us, then joined family later in the week.<\/p>\n<p>Carrie met us at Bayside at was able to meet a few of my new friends.&nbsp; I gave them a tour of the church grounds&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3297\/3412289923_45f5d043fa.jpg?v=0\" \/><br \/>\nWe went to our favorite frozen yogurt shop, Nuyo&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3316\/3413097140_60b37513ab.jpg?v=0\" \/><br \/>\nThen, the kids hit the pool\/hot tub for the rest of the afternoon&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;N&#8217;, cannonballing in without testing the UNHEATED water&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3637\/3412295401_57ea6f810d.jpg?v=0\" \/><br \/>\nEnjoying the hot tub&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3347\/3413102670_a4627e0094.jpg?v=0\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3302\/3412300441_3c2efe2943.jpg?v=0\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3318\/3413107608_ae1afe70c1.jpg?v=0\" \/><br \/>\nThe next day, we toured Old Sacramento.&nbsp; I forgot to replace my camera battery, so no pictures.&nbsp; We explored a cool steam paddleboat, called the &quot;Delta King&quot;.&nbsp; It was converted to a hotel and restaurant.&nbsp; They have a wine school there, and also host muder mystery weekends.&nbsp; We toured an old School Museum, and the docent was so sweet.&nbsp; She had the kids write on slates with chalk and read from an old McDuffy&#8217;s reader.&nbsp; A couple of pieces of salt water taffy at &#8216;Candy Heaven&#8217; topped off a perfecct afternoon.&nbsp; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My&nbsp;KD Sister\/North Bend Friend\/Tennis Partner, Carrie, came down with her kids to find some sun.&nbsp; Her husband comes to this area frequently on business, and joined him.&nbsp; While he worked, they visited with us, then joined family later in the week.
