{"id":725524,"date":"2009-09-09T16:13:00","date_gmt":"2009-09-10T00:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2009\/09\/09\/back-to-school-for-us-9-9-9\/"},"modified":"2009-09-09T16:13:00","modified_gmt":"2009-09-10T00:13:00","slug":"back-to-school-for-us-9-9-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2009\/09\/09\/back-to-school-for-us-9-9-9\/","title":{"rendered":"Back to School for Us! 9\/9\/9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Now that the jet lag is over, we are ready to get back into routine!<\/p>\n<p>Today, we:<strong><\/p>\n<p>Sight Word Test<br \/>\n<\/strong>Tested both boys on the Dolch list of sight words:<br \/>\n&#8216;R&#8217; got: 47\/52 for K, and 44\/50 for 1st grade.<br \/>\n&#8216;A&#8217; got 52\/52 for K, 49\/50 for 1st grade, 52\/52 for 2nd grade, 52\/52 for 3rd grade<br \/>\nHere are the lists: &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.quiz-tree.com\/Sight-Words_main.html#Dolch\">Dolch Word Lists<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Story Sequencing<br \/>\n<\/strong>The boys went through two stories, broken into graphic templates, and recreated the story in its proper order.&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dltk-kids.com\/type\/sequencing.htm\">DLTK&#8217;s Story Sequencing Activities<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Handwriting<br \/>\n<\/strong>Both boys did PreLesson One Worksheet in &#8216;A Reason for Handwriting&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Math<br \/>\n<\/strong>Reviewed <strong>writing<\/strong> numbers 1-10.&nbsp; Both boys will often write the numbers backwards.&nbsp; Did lesson one in Singapore Earlybird 2B.&nbsp; Beginning addition.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><strong>Bible<br \/>\n<\/strong>Read Bible stories: Elijah is Fed by Ravens, A Widow Feeds Elijah, Elijah Comes out of Hiding, Elija and the Prophets of Baal (All in 1 Kings)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Social<br \/>\n<\/strong>Pool time with my friend Lori, and her girls.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Art<br \/>\n<\/strong>Practiced drawing using &quot;Cars, Trucks, Trains &amp; Planes You Can Draw&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Now that the jet lag is over, we are ready to get back into routine!
