{"id":755556,"date":"2010-01-01T17:26:00","date_gmt":"2010-01-02T01:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2010\/01\/01\/christmas-day-2009\/"},"modified":"2010-01-01T17:26:00","modified_gmt":"2010-01-02T01:26:00","slug":"christmas-day-2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2010\/01\/01\/christmas-day-2009\/","title":{"rendered":"Christmas Day 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What a glorious day to celebrate the birth of our Savior!&nbsp; Spending these days&nbsp;with the ones I love was full of joy and blessings!<\/p>\n<p>We spent the morning at my moms.&nbsp; Somehow Santa knew that we were in Washington and the boys were excited to see the stockings my mom hung were full of their favorite toys!&nbsp; My mom made a nice breakfast for us, and we enjoyed playing with our gifts and having a mellow morning.<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon, we journeyed to my aunt and uncle&#8217;s house to continue the festivities.&nbsp; I should have taken a picture of the incredible spread she presented.&nbsp;An array of appetizers.&nbsp;Three kinds of pastas (homemade mac and cheese, spaghetti pie, and scampi over garlic noodles), green salad, rolls, and a variety of desserts.&nbsp; My aunt is a master entertainer, with the ability to create an atmosphere of comfort feeling spoiled.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4041\/4235365314_fb7046aeb6.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThe view from their condo at dusk&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2510\/4234595337_18f70aa539.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nOne of the beautiful holiday displays&#8230;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4053\/4235372840_461e3262e1.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWe do not exchange gifts, but play a dice game where you win gifts that we all contribute toward.&nbsp; It is a fun, unique way to enjoy the tradition.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4057\/4235379620_ea44880904.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4037\/4235383002_4245974091.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2742\/4234610933_cb5f2373af.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nThe newest member of our family, baby H!
