{"id":783506,"date":"2011-02-24T23:26:28","date_gmt":"2011-02-25T07:26:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/homeschoolblogger.com\/leigharev2\/?p=783506"},"modified":"2011-02-24T23:26:28","modified_gmt":"2011-02-25T07:26:28","slug":"song-deconstructed-youll-come-to-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.centerdeep2.com\/riverbendprep\/2011\/02\/24\/song-deconstructed-youll-come-to-us\/","title":{"rendered":"Song Deconstructed: You&#8217;ll Come to Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Hillsong United Lyrics<br \/>\nYou&#8217;ll Come To Us<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have decided I have resolved<br \/>\nTo wait upon you Lord<br \/>\nMy rock and redeemer shall not be moved<br \/>\nI&#8217;ll wait upon you Lord<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Bible verse: Psalm 19:13-14 &#8211; <\/strong><em>&#8220;Keep your servant also from willful sins;\u00a0may they not rule over me. \u00a0\u00a0Then I will be blameless,\u00a0innocent of great transgression. \u00a0May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart\u00a0be pleasing in your sight,\u00a0LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal Application: <\/strong>To wait upon the Lord. \u00a0To serve Him and His will. \u00a0Praying to the Lord to keep from sinning and being ruled by sin. \u00a0May my prayers and all my daily words and thoughts go before the Lord for discernment and approval. \u00a0May He guide me in what I do and say. \u00a0Jesus is my Rock &#8211; the solid foundation on which I stand. \u00a0Jesus is my Redeemer &#8211; the One who delivered me from sin by His blood.<\/p>\n<p>As surely as the sun will rise<br \/>\nYou&#8217;ll come to us<br \/>\nAs certain as the dawn appears<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bible Verse: Hosea 6:3 &#8211;<\/strong> <em>&#8220;Let us acknowledge the LORD;\u00a0let us press on to acknowledge him. \u00a0As surely as the sun rises,\u00a0he will appear;\u00a0he will come to us like the winter rains,\u00a0like the spring rains that water the earth.\u0094<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal Application: <\/strong>I rest in the knowledge that our Lord is always there in times of good and bad, as surely as the sun rises. \u00a0He may appear like the winter rain, a drenching downpour of love, protection, and provision. \u00a0He floods my soul and washes away my sin. \u00a0He drowns out my pain and sorrow. \u00a0He may appear as the warm, gentle spring rain that encourages, inspires, and nourishes the seeds He has planted in my heart.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll come let your glory fall<br \/>\nAs you respond to us<br \/>\nSpirit reign flood our hearts<br \/>\nWith holy fire again<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bible Verse: <\/strong>&#8220;<strong>2 Corinthians 3:18 &#8211; <\/strong><em>&#8220;And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord&#8217;s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal Application: <\/strong>Glory defines the character and physical manifestation of God. \u00a0The Holy Spirit imparts God&#8217;s glory on all believers. \u00a0As we learn and grow, the Holy Spirit helps us change to be more like Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>We are not shaken we are not moved<br \/>\nWe wait upon you Lord<br \/>\nOur Mighty deliverer my triumph and truth<br \/>\nI&#8217;ll wait upon you Lord<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bible Verse: 2 Samuel 22:2-3 &#8211; <\/strong><em>&#8220;The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; \u00a0my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,\u00a0my shield<\/em><span style=\"font-size: small\"><em> <\/em><\/span><em>and the horn<\/em><span style=\"font-size: small\"><em> <\/em><\/span><em>of my salvation.\u00a0He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior\u0097\u00a0from violent people you save me.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal Application: <\/strong>David wrote in this verse that God is his rock, twice. \u00a0I think this is significant to be clear on what it is you stand. \u00a0God is MY rock; a solid foundation. \u00a0God is MY fortress; a safe place, a refuge. \u00a0God is MY deliverer; the One who delivers me from anger, frustrations, worries, doubts&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Chains be broken<br \/>\nLives be healed<br \/>\nEyes be opened<br \/>\nChrist is revealed<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bible Verse: Psalm 116:16 &#8211; &#8220;<\/strong><em>Truly I am your servant, LORD;\u00a0I serve you just as my mother did;\u00a0you have freed me from my chains.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Personal Application: <\/strong>This verse at first seems to be a dichotomy. \u00a0Doesn&#8217;t the word &#8216;servant&#8217; depict some form of bondage; and doesn&#8217;t &#8216;bondage&#8217; equal being in chains?
