Here are a few of the questions that were provided during a marriage retreat followup “date night” with the Bradleys. \u00a0We asked these questions to our spouses and shared answers. \u00a0I picked a few to ask the boys:<\/p>\n
1) What is your favorite vacation spot?
\nA: HAWAII> \u00a0No question.
\nR: Hawaii, but also the Redwoods.<\/p>\n
2)If you were stranded on a deserted island, what 5 things would you want to have with you?
\nBoth yelled, “COCONUTS” simultaneously….
\nA: coconuts, a boat, my mom, my dad, and our cat Chelan (he added ‘R’ after ‘R’ didn’t add him on his list and he was upset over that)
\nR: boat, our cat Chelan, cherries, mom, dad, and ‘A’<\/p>\n
3)If you could go back in time and undo one thing that you have done, what would it be?
\nA: When I broke my collarbone, I did not swim in the lake. \u00a0If I were to go back, I’d swim. \u00a0(When I suggested he choose not to break his collarbone, he responded, “no, I am glad I broke it, I just should have swam when I had the chance.”
\nR:Throwing a golfball at Dad’s leg and hitting him by accident.<\/p>\n
4)If you could give super powers to your brother, what would they be?
\nA: To be any place at any time he wanted; to be multiple places at the same time.
\nR: To fly<\/p>\n
5) Name 3 things that you think is most important to your brother
\nA: His mom, dad, and guitar
\nR: His parents, his cat, and God<\/p>\n
6)What would you like to be on your tombstone?
\nA: I’m not going to have one; I’m going to be cremated.
\nR: I’m going to be cremated, but if I could I would choose to have a gold cup and writing that said something, and maybe one of my favorite books on it”<\/p>\n
7)If you were given a million dollars and had to spend it on yourself, what would you buy?
\nA:I would buy a car and then ask to get my drivers license, the I would make myself look taller, and get a fake beard and glasses to look like a grownup.
\nR: Get a car to use when I’m grown up and maybe some Lego sets…
\nA: I’d get some Legos too.<\/p>\n
8)If you could meet any three people in history, who might they be?
\nA: Jesus, George Washington, Peter from the Bible
\nR: Alexander the Great, Jesus, Julius Caesar (can you guess what we’ve been learning about?)<\/p>\n
9)What do you feel like you’ve accomplished in your life?
\nA: Part of a never ending journey…
\nR: Martial arts testing for belts<\/p>\n
10)What would you like to accomplish before you die?
\nA: Go farther into the journey
