I was speaking with a friend recently who had asked me to pray for her. \u00a0She has been going through some really big valleys with multiple family crisis. \u00a0I wrote out my prayer to her and want to share it. Specifics of my friend has been removed.<\/p>\n
I was praying over how I was to specifically pray regarding all that is going on.\u00a0 The Lord gave me a song to focus on.\u00a0 It’s “You Never Let Go” by Matt Redman.\u00a0 As I was singing and meditating on the lyrics, then going into scripture, here is my prayer:<\/p>\n

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death<\/strong><\/p>\n Your perfect love is casting out fear<\/strong><\/p>\n And even when I’m caught in the middle of the storms of this life<\/strong><\/p>\n I won’t turn back, I know you are near <\/strong><\/p>\n (Look up PSALM 23)<\/p>\n (Father, I recognize that we are on this earth for just a little while, and that our time here is minute and finite compared to our eternal life with You.\u00a0 Father, help us to shift our focus to the eternal and help us to remember that no matter what is going on with our lives here, that you have a place prepared for us, and that You are ever-present and ever-available for our trials on earth.\u00a0 You are with us on our peaks, and we praise You for that.\u00a0 You are with us in the valleys, and we praise You for that.\u00a0 May we never turn our backs to You.\u00a0 You have the only perfect love, \u00a0and You give it to us freely.\u00a0 There is nothing on this earth, or anywhere else that can provide this.\u00a0 Today, I choose to trust You.)<\/p>\n I will fear no evil<\/strong><\/p>\n For my God is with me<\/strong><\/p>\n And if my God is with me<\/strong><\/p>\n Whom then shall I fear<\/strong><\/p>\n *WHOM THEN SHALL I FEAR* <\/strong><\/p>\n (Your Word, (Hebrews 13:5-6), promises that You will never leave or forsake us, so that we can say in confidence, \u201cThe Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.\u00a0 What can mere mortals do to me?\u201d\u00a0 Even though we may not understand or agree with what is happening, still,<\/em> we will Praise You!)<\/p>\n (Look up Psalm 46 and 27)<\/p>\n CHORUS:<\/strong><\/p>\n OH no You never let go through the calm and through the storm<\/strong><\/p>\n Oh no, You never let go in every high and every low<\/strong><\/p>\n Oh no, You never let go, Lord, You never let go of me<\/strong><\/p>\n (Verse 2) <\/strong><\/p>\n (Look up Isaiah 25:4.\u00a0 You alone, Lord, are our refuge and shelter from our storms.\u00a0 When the things of this earth wear us down, You are our hiding place.)<\/p>\n And I can see the light that is comin’ for the heart that holds on<\/strong><\/p>\n A glorious light beyond all compare<\/strong><\/p>\n And there will be an end to the struggles<\/strong><\/p>\n But until that day comes, we’ll live to know You here on the Earth <\/strong><\/p>\n (Living to know You here on the earth includes the suffering, as You know suffering.\u00a0 Look up Philippians 3:10-11)<\/p>\n And I will fear no evil<\/strong><\/p>\n For my God is with me<\/strong><\/p>\n And if my God is with me<\/strong><\/p>\n Whom then shall I fear<\/strong><\/p>\n *WHOM THEN SHALL I FEAR* <\/strong><\/p>\n (Chorus)<\/p>\n *You keep on loving and you never let go*<\/strong><\/p>\n (Chorus)<\/p>\n And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on<\/strong><\/p>\n and there will be an end to the struggles<\/strong><\/p>\n but until that day comes<\/strong><\/p>\n *STILL I WILL PRAISE YOU<\/strong><\/p>\n STILL I WILL PRAISE YOU*<\/strong><\/p>\n (REPEAT 1) <\/strong><\/p>\n (Chorus) x2<\/p>\n (Romans 8:38-39 declares, \u201cFor I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.\u201d)<\/p>\n I pray for those who are reading this .\u00a0 I pray that you turn over all your cares, worries, stresses, health issues, burdens to the only One that can hold them for you. \u00a0Father, please help your children to rest in the comfort of knowledge that they wholly Yours, Your creations, and that You love them more than they could ever fathom. \u00a0 I pray you make these truths abundantly clear.<\/p>\n I pray for wisdom and discernment \u00a0in navigating tough decisions with a peace-filled heart.
