(they did not spend the whole amount; I just wanted to make sure they were covered.)<\/p>\n<p>While I met with friends at a nearby coffee shop, the boys went to Whole Foods and bought their ingredients. Their menu for the evening:<\/p>\n<p>1st course: Raw spiraled zucchini with bottles citrus vinaigrette<br \/>\n2nd Course: Penne a la Vodka<br \/>\nDessert: Chocolate dipped frozen bananas<\/p>\n<p>They did an excellent job. I only interjected twice. Once to place the vodka into the sauce (I was concerned spilling and possible fire) and when &#8216;R&#8217; proceeded to chop three heads of garlic and not three cloves&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>They had purchased carob chips for the banana, but these were lost. So, they ended up using Guittard chocolate bars we had on hand. A fortuitous error.
