We had cupcakes and ice cream at the homeschool co-op later that morning. That evening, we decided to surprise ‘R’ by taking him to Chuck E. Cheese. He say it and yelled, "Chuck E. Cheese!". Then, he saw "Denny’s" and yelled "Denny’s" even louder. We were laughing and asked him where he’d prefer to have dinner and he actually said "Denny’s". We couldn’t believe it! What child picks Denny’s over Chuck E. Cheese?! Ours, apparently.
We still went to Chuck E. Cheese because DH had never been and ‘A" would have been a wreck. ‘R’ was not disappointed.
That weekend, we had our whole family come for a party. Even Grandma Margaret and Grandpa Randy drove from Idaho to attend the party and spend the night!
