When we moved here, we had no idea we were so close to magnificent trails in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. After falling in love with running, I learned that the town of Auburn is known as the “endurance running capital of the world. This is where the famous Western States race ends; a 100 mile trail race that begins in Squaw Valley (Tahoe).
We are blessed enough to be able to run in and around these famous trails. Here is a snapshot of one of these magnificent mornings…
